I have taken a moment to bring together and consolidate what are the core values of the Wellness Cafe. Then after seeing these, I have taken the next obvious step and written out our mission statement.
Core Values: I do not run a business, rather the Wellness Café is a community; this community offers services to people for psychic and spiritual well being. The core values of the Wellness Café are:
Love, is our guide in all that we do. We believe that all people should have access to mental health services. Money is not why we do this, and running a profitable business in mental health is miss using money and the business principles. People seeking wellness, healing and understanding can give within their ability to equalize the karma created in our professional connection. We offer knowledge, wisdom, intuition and insights, and Love, while the people receiving value these services and seeking us out, give what they can. Cash is a great trading tool.
Authenticity, we believe that the connections we make professionally with our clients are real. We treat each client as a friend, with respect, honesty and kindness. We strive to create a safe space to open up and become all that our personal potential holds. Confidentiality is a foundation from which we offer all of our services.
Communication, we believe that talking is not communicating, we learn to talk automatically, but to communicate well, we must learn to listen, express feelings honestly and kindly, and respect the person we are communicating with, thus communicating our feelings and thoughts in a non-aggressive format that others can receive with confidence in a space that feels safe.
Hope, We believe that hope is the power of Love in the face of personal and social struggles and upheavals. Instead of living in fear of the unknown future, we live in hope of a foreseen future, which we are co-creating through personal choices that are good both for the self and the collective.
Community, The wellness Cafe is more than a business platform, it is a community of like minded people who have passion and knowledge in offering healing practices and modalities. We do this in a safe space that is not controlled by the values of corporate greed nor atheist doctrines. Our practitioners are united in their goal to serve humanity, and our clients are united in their desire to be the best they are in this moment.
Mission Statement
The Wellness Café believes that all people shall have access to mental health services. We do this by offering people seeking help many opportunities and formats of authentic healing love, as one on one sessions, couples coaching, workshops and group work to foster personal change, growth and healing. We use a donation or trade process from each client or service. I have tried the other methods of charging people for services rendered, and found them stifling, inauthentic and without love. Now, being free, autonomous and Love centered, the Wellness Cafe community can do what we love most: help people strengthen their minds, heal their emotions and grow spiritually.
